In 2007, well-known bicycle industry veteran David Earle set out to create a different kind of bicycle component company. With his expertise in engineering and manufacturing, he wanted to create a 'One Stop' design and fabrication firm for customers. With offices in Santa Cruz County and Taiwan, Praxis' sole purpose is to enable customers of any size to enter the drivetrain market without the heavy engineering investment and focus on manufacturing that is typically required.

A focus on the OEM market allows Praxis to create high level components from start to finish for our customers, all while providing top notch service at a great value. Unlike other component companies, Praxis specializes in cycling drivetrains but can develop and manufacture any cycling part. While you will never find a stem, handlebar, or crank with the Praxis name, we can design and manufacture them for you. However, you will find our name on chain-rings, bottom bracket systems, and other very technical parts most major brands don't want to develop. A very close association with Dragontech Manufacturing in Taiwan allows for exclusive metal forming techniques to be used. These innovative manufacturing methods combined with our in-house engineering team and testing facilities, make Praxis Works a new standard in the cycling industry.
